A set of twenty four sterling silver dinner plates, by James Young, London 1784, with later hallmarked borders, circular shaped with gadrooned border, each engraved with the later Garter arms of Henry Paget (1768-1854) 1st Marquess of Anglesey, he was made Knight of the Garter in 1818 and the arms presumably date from after this (24), 13,780gms, 24 cm diam. Note: the duty mark is incuse and was first introduced on 1st December 1784.
