Mid 19th century three piece gilt bronze French clock garniture, signed Nicaud. Fab. A Toulouse. The gilt bronze clock with white enamel dial, gilt pierced hands, mounted in ornate scrolled housing, draped cast bronze flowers surmounted by an urn with foliate swags. The clock case fitted with ornate gilt feet, sitting on a gilt wooden base. Two train French movement, outside countwheel striking on a bell. The clock flanked by a matching pair of 5 branch gilt bronze candelabra with centre candle holder and snuffer. The candelabra base matching the clock in all details with the candelabra arms of a flowing scrolled design. The candelabra sitting on matching gilt wood bases. Height clock 61 cm. Height candelabra 79 cm
