Walter Dorwin Teague (1883-1960) A Sparton Bluebird with base United States, c.1936 tinted mirror, chrome, wood 36.5 cm diameter cm note: the celebrated Sparton Bluebird was one of a group of Sparton sets designed in 1936 by Teague. The first four in this series being unveiled at the National Electrical & Radio Exposition held in New York's grand central Palace during September of 1935.
