A rare North American Indian breast plate - Cree tribe, warrior's armour or ceremonial breast plate, with two rows of horizontal hair pipes intersected by rows of beads, buffalo hide and buckskin tassels, convex pink shell adornment to top with beaded strap, approximately 32 cm high, 22 cm wide.
