A Japanese Kutani footed bowl, Meiji period (1868-1912), circular with an everted rim and spreading foot, white-glazed throughout, the interior decorated with koi in a stream below blossoming cherry, the exterior with flying birds and flowering foliage, chrysanthemum head and lattice borders to the rim interior and the foot, an eight-character mark in two columns underside. Height 11 cm. Diameter 29 cm
