A 19th century cut brass inlaid scarlet tortoiseshell glove box and a similar Journal, the rectangular glove box with a silk padded and button interior containing a selection of hand embroidered napery, the lid engraved 'A gift from her Son Lionel on her 53. Birthday Dec.11.1870', together with a leather bound journal, the glove box 29 cm long.
