An Australian silver tray maker's mark William Edwards, Melbourne, circa 1859 engraved to the centre with fruiting grape, the border cast with a neo-classical design of masks and beasts, further marked W. Edwards, manufacturer, Melbourne, by appointment to Hrh Duke of Edinburgh, 590grs total weight of silver, 24.5 cm diameter.
