An Edwardian gilt metal-mounted oak-cased mantel clock, English, circa 1900, the French movement by Marti, the steel Roman numeral dial with a hinged cover within upright rectangular case on bun feet, the low domed and reeded top mounted with a pineapple finial, with ring handles and grilles to the sides and metal mouldings and edges throughout, the finial, handles, grilles, and feet gilt (dial cover glass lacking). Height 50 cm. Width 29 cm. Depth 18 cm.
