A Victorian sterling silver-mounted glass claret jug. Martin, hall & Co. (Richard Martin and Ebenezer hall), Sheffield, 1881/2, the jug of straight-sided spreading form cut with a checked pattern, mounted with a silver collar and hinged finialed cover with a loop handle and pouring lip, all with beaded and chased foliate and floral decoration. Height 25 cm.
