A fine French Louis XVI-style bois De satine and walnut bureau plat, late 19th century, the rectangular top lined in gilt-tooled brown leather above five drawers arranged around a knee-hole, a conforming arrangement of false drawers fronts to the opposing side, the sides each with a slide, on turned and fluted tapering legs, the drawer fronts and sides geometrically-veneered and rosewood-banded, with gilt metal escutcheons and corner clasps.
