1919 Footscray Premiership medal, solid 9ct gold medal with 'VFA' in centre, surrounded by text '1919/ Premiers/ Footscray', engraved on reverse, 'F.Fitzgibbon'. Excellent condition. Beautiful medal, Maltese cross shaped, with footballs at sides and base. Very attractive and rare. (Footscray won 9 VFA Premierships (1898, 1899, 1900, 1908, 1913, 1919, 1920, 1923 and 1924) ; and one VFL/AFL Premiership in 1954)
