A sterling silver compact, Watrous Manufacturing Co., Wallingford, Massachusetts, first half, 20th century, the shaped rectangular hinged case with a herring-bone mesh chain, the cover engraved with a cartouche and enclosing a well-fitted part gilt-washed interior with a hinged mirror, powder compartment, and sprung clips.
