A large French metal-mounted black marble mantel clock, japy Freres, circa 1880, works marked 'Japy Freres. ', the stepped and break-front body with a shaped top above the brass and black enamelled Roman numeral dial, with cast metal mask handles to the sides and centrepieces to the front, incised gilt decoration throughout. Height 45 cm. Width 47 cm. Depth 19 cm
