A cased Thomas Mercer chronometer, circa 1920, set in a walnut case with a glazed lid, brass bowl and gimbal suspension. Silvered with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down scale. Blued steel 'pear' hands, notes receipt of repair in 1972, height 22 cm
