A large and imposing patinated and lacquered bronze figure of Buddha Shakyamuni, early Qing, 18th century, a swastika on his chest, seated in vajrasana, on an elaborate lotus throne in vajrasana, with his hands in bhumisparsa mudras, the hems of his robe finely detailed, the ushnisha rising from a head of tightly curled polychrome hair.
