Scottish sterling silver - a Scottish formal dress set, comprising Sporran, Plaid brooch and a pair of shoe buckles, the sporran comprises a red leather purse with reverse pocket, the front having a silver cantle with Celtic pattern and the McKay crest with Motto Manu Forti, white horse hair, three silver tassels with Celtic pattern holding grey hair, complete with silver chain. Size 15 cm x 48 cm (6 in w x 19 in), reverse of cantle impressed with maker’s mark and thistle mark - by R and Hb Kirkwood Ltd, Edinburgh,1906.the Plaid brooch, all silver, having Celtic pattern matching Sporran, surmounted with attached McKay crest (hand holding a dagger, scroll with words Manu Forti, 8.5 cm (3.5 in) dia., maker’s mark.the shoe buckles, ovoid shape, silver bordered, with Celtic patter matching Sporran and Clan badge, curved to fit around a shoe, four holes for laces, 6 cm x 5 cm (2.5 in x 2 in), maker’s mark
