A Japanese Satsuma Koro. Meiji period (1868-1912), signed Kozan, the squat quatrefoil form raised on four short splayed feet and with a small domed cover depicts a narrative over four cartouches set within a cobalt and gilded ground. Stamped to base. Height 10 cm.
