Cased ambrotype of a young sitting soldier wearing a four button blouse. He holds his forage cap in his left hand, B16 on top of cap. Piece of paper taped to outside of case, Id him as a private in Company B 16th Wisconsin Infantry Regiment, case separated at hinge but repaired with black tape. Full case ambrotype waist up view of a young soldier wearing a nine button single breasted dark grey shell jacket, two buttons on cuff. All buttons have been gilded. Case is separated at hinge but has been repaired with black tape
