A large and elaborate static model of the brig-sloop, HM Oberon, (1805) built by the James Shepherd Shipyard, Sutton, the laminated wooden hull painted in colours of red, white and black, the varnished deck with detailed fittings, rigging and four lifeboats, raised on an ebonised stand, named in brass lettering to the stern. Length 210 cm
