Description:
A fine quality Satsuma bowl signed Yabu Meizan (1853-1934), the body of the bowl exhibits a very fine crackle and white faience. Decoration is overglaze enamelling and gilding of superior quality and features a long and detailed sankinkotai procession with border decoration of flower garland below a band of key frets, the reverse with butterflies and grasses.
