An elaborate Victorian sterling silver centrepiece maker's mark Elkington & Co, London circa 1895, the central fluted tapering standard supporting a large pierced shaped basket, emanating eight scroll arms over two tiers, terminating in conforming shaped and circular baskets, raised on acanthus scroll legs, the whole ornately decorated with foliate swag, acanthus and beaded decoration, 4282 grs. Total weight of silver. Width 68 cm.
