A Royal Worcester porcelain pot pourri jar and cover signed H. Ayrton, circa 1951, globular, painted with a central scene showing fruit, the reverse a bunch of grapes, the circular foot and base moulded as a gilded woven basket, the pierced cover with a conforming woven band surmounted by a finial above an inner cover, black factory mark and model No. 1286. Height 24 cm.
