A Georgian sterling silver claret jug, circa1816, London, the ovoid base with waisted neck and with deep spout featuring a bold repousse decoration of swags and foliate scrolls complete with a high looped cane wrapped handle all mounted to a flattened foot. Worn hallmarks to neck. Weight: 821gr. Height 31 cm.
