Bob Woolmer's WSC world x I cap, pale blue wool, with embroidered WSC badge (red ball over 3 black stumps) on front, endorsed inside 'R.A.W.'. Good match-used condition. Ex Ross Edwards collection. Bob Woolmer played 19 Tests & 6 ODIs for England 1972-76, he played for the WSC world x I 1977-79, and later coached South Africa, Warwickshire and Pakistan. On 18 March 2007, Woolmer died suddenly in Jamaica, just a few hours after the Pakistan team's unexpected elimination at the hands of Ireland in the 2007 cricket World Cup. Shortly afterwards, Jamaican police announced that they were opening a murder investigation into Woolmer's death. However, three months later they announced that Woolmer had died of natural causes
