The lot comprises 174pp foolscap minute book (1893-1921) and a second volume with typescripts of meetings 1898-1917. Both make considerable mention of Ms Baynton and (Sir) Henry Gullett [Barbara Baynton wrote the Australian classic 'Bush Studies' (1902). Following her husband's death in 1904 she invested considerably in the Law Book Company of Australasia. An astute businesswoman, she married the fifth Baron Headley in 1921]
