A 19th century Victorian Scottish silver-mounted bullock horn snuff mull and suspension chain the horn tip sheathed in silver thistle leaves surmounted by a silver thistle flower head set with a purple stone (possibly glass), the horn surface decorated with a large cairngorm on a thistle and foliate engraved silver mount, the snuff box with a hinged cover embossed with thistle decoration, the cartouche area vacant, and set with a cairngorm, circa 1860
