A fine George IV rosewood davenport in the manner of Gillow, the sliding sloping desk top with three-quarter gallery enclosing two small drawers and a long hinged drawer containing inkwells to one side, above four graduated drawers to one side and false drawers to the other and a pull-out writing slide to the other, with panelled front and raised on lobed bun feet with recessed castors, with original Bramah locks throughout, 59 cm wide, 64 cm deep, 88 cm high.
