Oak Port Side Knee Brace for Cat Head from H.M.S. Victory, This famous ship, launched in 1765 and known as Nelson's Flagship and constructed with 6000 trees, 90% of which were oak. Conservation work was started in 1921 and continued for the Bicentenary 2005 from oak trees planted by Nelson in 1803. Lt. Commander Frank Nowosielski, the commander from 1/5./98 till 8/3/2006 has signed a Certificate of Authenticity stating that a royalty from its sale will go to the 'Save the Victory Fund'. 116 x 14 x 14 cm Prov: Ref.
