A Four Tiered Travelling Chest, With scalloped shaped cover in a carrier frame (also scalloped). Handle in red lacquer, decor of black and silver. Cover with character 'longevity' between peaches, persimmons and lotus. Decor on sides of trays of bats (happiness) among clouds and scrolled flora. Sides mounted with metal studs, strap work and frame with ring straps and brass handle. Period 19th century Qing Dynasty Condition: Good 68 x 60 cm
