A Fine Shan Sculpture Of A Royal Buddha, c.18th Century, of wood, standing above a detachable double lotus base, his left hand lowered and his right hand raised to his chest, wearing close fitting royal robes decorated with floral borders, his fine featured visage of serene expression and downcast eyes flanked by pendulous ears, below an elaborate crown and projecting cintanami at apex, old lacquer and later day gold paint, Burma, 146 x 47 cm.
