A Superb Bronze Sculpture Of Padmapani, c.13th Century, standing on a raised platform above a lotus flower base with a double madorla to the rear incised with flaming motif, wearing a short dhoti finely incised with floral motifs and folds undulating between his legs, secured with a lotus flower sash at his waist, his left hand resting on his thigh, his right hand raised to his chest holding a vajra, his bare chest adorned with beaded necklaces below a fine featured visage, his bow shaped mouth inlaid with copper and almond shaped eyes inlaid with silver below a trefoil crown and seated deity at apex, smooth overall patina, some verdigris encrustations, Western Tibet, 21 x 10 cm.
