A tall Japanese brass Koro with Shishi dogs. Meiji period (1868-1912), the spherical base depicting relief scenes of birds and to the sides hou-ou head handles topped by a pierced lid featuring a large shishi all mounted to a triple footed support with shishi masks raised on a round plinth with final shishi. Height 68 cm base diameter 24 cm
