Antique two bottle inkstand the inscription reads 'presented to J.E. Packer Esq by the merchant bankers and shipowners of Hobart Town as a mark of esteem for the kind and attentive manner in which he discharged the duty of principal operator in the Telegraphic Department 9th August 1866'
