Platinum, diamond, ruby and pearl brooch / pendant, Belle Epoque and platinum and seed pearl necklace, centring a cultured pearl within a star brooch with rubies and diamonds, the diamonds to a pin and retractable hidden bale with a seed pearl necklace, width approximately 25 mm, gross weight approximately 7.3 grams. Condition: the pearl pendant is in excellent condition at the time of appraisal. The pearl is an elongated shape with pointed tip, it is silvery white with smooth skin and excellent lustre. The skin has very few markings and is in excellent condition. Markings and pits are to be expected on organic pearls. The pearl is secure to the claw setting, the claws are straight and the diamond is secure in the setting. The diamond is devoid of chips and abrasions. The tapered bale is in excellent condition and the channel set baguette diamonds are devoid of damage, chips and abrasions and are straight and secure in the setting. The polish is excellent.
