A Giles-decorated dish, Worcester circa 1775, the blue ground border with trailing gilt grapes and vine leaves, a gilt anthemion border to the well head. The centre painted with a neo-classical flower draped urn, 20 cm diameter. Provenance: See "James Giles: China and Glass Painter" by Stephen Hanscombe, 2005, item 84 for a square dish in this pattern
