H. W. Broughton of Melbourne rare Colonial Australian octagonal trinket box, circa 1850, bearing original paper label "R. W. Broughton, fancy cabinet maker, Melbourne", with original blue paper lining and handwritten manuscript key of the timber veneers "Huon pine, She-oak, He-oak, black pine, Honeysuckle, red gum, cypress pine, Tulip". Base with original patterned paper lining with additional scarlet paper manuscript key. 5 cm high, 20 cm wide, 20 cm deep.
