A cold painted bronze and ivory 'Eastern Dancer' by Schmidt-Cassel, Gustav Schmidt-Cassel, circa 1930 the dynamic figure balancing on her right toe with her left leg bent at the knee and her arms raised, wearing a short red dress with flaring sleeves and elaborate headdress, with carved ivory face and hands, on an integral rectangular base signed 'Schmidt-Cassel, Fec.' with canted corners and beaded detailing upon a black marble matching plinth.
