Captain Charles Sturt (1795 - 1869), 'Narrative of an Expedition into Central Australia, performed under the authority of her Majesty's Government, during the years 1844, 5, and 6. Together with a notice of the Province of South Australia, in 1847', [London : T. And W. Boone, 1849, 1st ed.] in 2 vols. (defective green cloth covered boards which are present but detached with only small parts of the spines present). Contents are complete including the folding map, fifteen plates including six chromolithographs, some after S.T. Gill and John Gould. Ex library. (Sold as a collection of plates).
