A third quarter of the 18th century brass-bound ebonised quarter chiming bracket clock on bracket, Ellicott, London the arched case with single handle over a moulded cornice and circular and shaped glazed side apertures on a brass bound plinth base, the 7 inch arched brass dial with strike/silent subsidiary over a Roman and Arabic chapter ring and silvered centre, with matching hands, the substantial triple fusee movement with verge escapement chiming the quarters on a nest of eight bells and striking the hour on a ninth with pull repeat, the back plate engraved with a central pagoda amid foliate scrolls, together with the original stepped wall bracket the whole.
