Fully mounted harpoon, temple iron, centre punched stamped on toggle 'Cwm' (Charles W Morgan), 2 cm hemp rope attached, markings to other side 'Lb' (Larboard boat), makers stamp 'Ettrs'? (bottom half of lettering indistinguishable), original wood, rope mounts and canvas cover for blade. 2.4m long, the Charles W Morgan is the oldest whale boat still in existence and is preserved and displayed at Mystic Seaport in the USA
