Description:
Stainless steel, vintage, 44.4 mm Sicura, chronograph manual wind wristwatch, circa 1970's. Anthracite and silvered dial features a stop chronograph operated by the 2 crowns on the right. The crown on the left turns the inner bezel on the dial. This timepices is also a yatching watch / regatta watch, hence the colours on the inner bezel and small seconds hand. Stainless steel case and base metal bezel is feaured on a blue fabric strap with backing and inox pin buckle. The watch is currently not operating yet vendor informs this is a recent occurence - suggest service. Swiss made. Watch only - no box or paperwork. 'The owner of the Sicura Company, Ernst Schneider bought the Breitling brand from the founding family in 1979, at a time when Breitling was under financial difficulty. The Sicura factory took on Breitling manufacturing and later changed its name to Montres Breitling Ag and then Breitling Ag.'
