Sapphire and diamond ring, French, circa 1930, of cluster design, centring a claw-set antique cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 7.90 carats, framed by a halo of old mine-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 3.50 carats, mounted platinum, size Q, French hallmark. Accompanied by a Ssef report numbered 130279, dated 27 June 2023, stating that the 7.90 carat sapphire is natural, with no indications of heating, of Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin.
