A late Georgian painted porcelain plaque, circa 1820, possibly Worcester, rectangular, painted in colours with a risque scene of a maiden bathing in a woodland pool watched from a distance by a man, unsigned and unmarked as to manufacture, mounted in an antique gilt frame, 15.5 x 13 cm, other notes John Sandon has previously suggested a possible connection with Thomas Baxter's later period at Worcester (private correspondence with the vendor).. Condition: plaque: inspection under Uv light presents restoration to lower edge of panel . Very minor wear., frame: wear and losses overall
