A Royal Worcester porcelain 'Limoges Enamel' decorated plate, dated 1883, the enamel decoration by Thomas John Bott, circular on a pronounced footring with four original holes for mounting or hanging, cobalt blue ground with a gilt rim, the centre finely decorated in white enamel with a partially draped classical maiden seated amidst clouds, signed 'T.J. Bott' lower right, titled and further signed underside ''Phoebe.' T.J. Bott. Worcester. 1883', without a factory mark, 20.5 cm diameter. Condition: Scratching and wear to blue ground., inspection under Uv light presents extensive restoration to the entire edge of the plate.
