A Kerr & Binns Worcester porcelain vase, dated 1857, the decoration attributed to Josiah Rushton, of baluster shape on a circular foot, cobalt blue ground with gilt highlights to the lightly-moulded decorative details, the front the front of the body with a gilt-framed cartouche decorated with eighteenth century-style scene of a courting couple in a landscape, the reverse with gilt foliate decoration, printed red shield factory mark underside incorporating the date mark '57', 29 cm high. Condition: Restoration and regilding visible to the neck. Small scratches to the blue ground in places. One area of glaze loss (pitting) to the upper body
