A pair of Royal Worcester porcelain vases, shape 401, dated 1876, each of egg shape raised on three gilt scrolling feet, each body divided with turquoise and gilt borders into three upright panels, the front panel decorated in eighteenth century French manner with a flying putto, the others with vignettes of various objects and flowers, one of the principal panels signed Pl or LP (the letters conjoined), printed factory marks underside, 17.5 cm high. Condition: minor losses to gilding in places, very minor losses to paintwork, slight crazing
