A pair of Royal Worcester porcelain 'Limoges Enamel' decorated vases, date cipher for 1879, the enamel decoration attributed to Thomas John Bott, each of flattened baluster shape on a square foot with a pair of gilt classical busts to the shoulders, cobalt blue ground with gilt details, the bodies decorated in white enamel, the front of each with a gilt-framed classical portrait, respectively of Julius Caesar and his wife Calpurnia, the reverse sides with a classical design centred on a winged cherub, painted and printed factory marks underside including initials 'Cn', presumably the gilder's, 22 cm high. Condition: minor chips to pedestal base on male vase., the female vase with restoration to neck, mouth, one figural handle and to the solce and foot.
