A Royal Worcester porcelain 'Limoges Enamel' decorated plaque, dated 1886, the enamel decoration by Thomas John Bott, rectangular, cobalt blue ground, finely decorated in white enamel with a lightly-draped female figure amidst clouds as a personification of 'Night', inscribed and signed ''Night.' / ink & enamelled by T.J. Bott 1886' to the reverse, mounted in an antique ebonised and gilt frame, 23 x 13 cm (visible dimensions). Condition: one restored crack to upper right of panel (extending from the right edge of the panel toward the sceptre), this panel was examined within the frame, frame: wear to gilding in places
