A matched pair of Royal Worcester porcelain Pate-Sur-Pate vases, circa 1870, of identical form and decoration, of flattened bottle shape on a spreading elliptical foot, a pair of ring 'Handles' to the shoulders and studded borders the front, sides, and reverse, glazed pale celadon green with white and gilt details, the front with a pate-sur-pate classical profile portrait of a man with a lyre, the reverse with another of a man in a plumed helmet, unmarked as to manufacture, each 17 cm high. Condition: Wear to gilding in places, no visible restoration
