A 17th century Channel Islands silver wine cup by Abraham Hebert of jersey, circa 1688, engraved 'E.M.G.' and 'S.E.T.' on reverse. With Hebert's marks, 'A.H.' and fleur-de-lys in separate punches. Illustrated in 'Old Channel Islands silver: Its makers and Marks' by Richard H. Mayne [Jersey, 1969], plate 24. Accompanied by aforementioned book and associated exhibition correspondence. 13 cm high, 214 grams.
